The discussion on how the gut connects with the brain continues. I am continually in awe of how integrated and entwined our body systems are. Its a wonderfully fine balance – when it works well, its great Kind of like the “girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead”. When the gut is in the correct balance its great, but boy oh boy, look out when things get out of balance… “when she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid”
